This super flow warmup is a beautiful one to warm the body up for sports, especially ones that involve rotational movements like surfing, snowboarding, golf, hockey, baseball, etc.
It is a fusion of yoga, martial arts, and surf-inspired movements
The intention is to create a fluid warm-up that increases your range of motion while in motion. There is no savasana after this practice because the intention is for you to go do your sports after this practice.
I do this on the beach every morning before surfing and it makes all the difference. It may take a few times to get used to the side to side, rotational movement patterns, but once you get it, it feels amazing and it’s so functional. You will feel more loose, flexible, and centered.
