Much more than a retreat, this week is an inclusive and blissful celebration of everything that life offers us.

January 2 – 8, 2025
Lombok, Indonesia (the next island to Bali)

Where is Lombok?

Lombok is an island east of Bali, but less famous than its neighbor. While every year millions of tourists are attracted to Bali, many places on Lombok are still untouched.

Lombok offers many empty and often isolated dream beaches, friendly and interesting people, tasty food and fantastic nature.

From Desert Point in the west to Ekas in the east, this variegated succession of bays, reefs and rocky inlets provides the greatest number and quality of breaks in Lombok.

Surfing

The best thing about the waves on Lombok. They truly offer something for everyone. It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner, who wants to catch your first wave, or an intermediate surfer who wants to improve your skills.

Blissology works with local Surf guides who guarantee your safety, as well as coaching you towards your personal goal.
We arrange daily pick ups with the car and boat trips so that you will catch the best waves of your life.

Do I need a visa?

Most countries are eligible for a Visa On Arrival (VOA). However, as the rules can quickly change these days, we advise you to contact your local Indonesian Consulate to check for current status on all visas for your citizenship.

What is the local currency?

The local currency is Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). Please check out http://xe.com/ for current exchange rates.

What is the weather like?

You can expect pleasant day temperatures between 20 to 33 degrees Celsius or 68 to 93 degrees Fahrenheit year-round.

What is the water temperature like?

Water temperatures vary between 26-30c, so not too much thermal protection is required when swimming, surfing, or snorkelling.

How do I get to Lombok?

By Plane

The interntional airport in Lombok is called Lombok Praya Airport (the code is LOP). Flights arrive here from Singapore as well as other Asian hubs.
You can also fly to Bali’s Denpasar airport first, spend a few days in Bali; then travel on a domestic flight to Lombok Praya.
While flights between Bali and Lombok are quite inexpensive, be sure to book the right fare (i.e. with luggage and / or a surfboard, should you be traveling with one). Popular airlines include Garuda Indonesia and Lion Air. Lombok is a 45 minute flight from Bali.

By Boat

Via Padangbai & Bangsal -fast Boat
Take the Speedboat from Padangbai, which will cost you approximately 350.000 IDR one way and take 1 1/2 hours.

Via Padangbai & Lembar
An alternative option is to take the public ferry between Padangbai and Lembar, which will take anywhere between 4 to 7 hours across the Lombok Strait for less than 150.000 IDR You will arrive in the Western port of Lembar. You have the option to bring your Scooter and Surfboard with you.
