Yoga Optimized Workshop

The goal of Blissology Yoga alignment is to empower yoga practitioners to understand the principles of yoga so that we can create a practice that is not “one size fits all,” but is completely tailored to the specific needs of each practitioner. As the saying goes, “if you give a person a fish, they will eat for a day but if you teach them how to fish, they will eat forever.” Our goal is lofty, but we have achieved it. In this workshop, you will learn how to paint in detailed brushstrokes and not just in broad ones. Your mind-muscle control will be radically enhanced as we carve out new and beneficial neurophysiological pathways. This is about rewiring your yoga practice and changing your relationship with gravity. In the process, you will have power to heal your body, in- crease mobility and maximize wellness. Even though this covers very complex territory of anatomy and biomechanics, you will find a system that is very easy to grasp. Our secret for doing to is by organizing yoga into a digestible system. We have followed the Leonardo da Vinci principle that “simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.” Without dumbing it down, we have pinpointed key movement patterns and principles that make all the difference in the practice. Many of these principles are a progression from the wealth of knowledge left by previous generations of yogis. We are deeply rooted in the lineage of yoga, but we are laying out a new path for the future.
