Yoga and Mind Body Medicine: the Radiant Heart with Eoin Finn & Dr. Lawrence Cheng, 13:30 – 16:30

Through a potent combination of lecture, asana, experiential anatomy and meditation practices, this comprehensive workshop will greatly enhance our own health, as well as benefit our personal relationships, our communities and Nature. Receive cutting edge knowledge on the latest science about the heart as well as tools to maintain health and connection through the embodiment of our most radiant heart.

Explore the “old science” of the heart for how it functions as a pump miraculously circulating 19,000 km of blood each day. Then open up to the new science of the heart for it’s neuroendocrine function, the brain and heart communication system, the power of the vagus nerve and the profound effects of the energy field of the heart on our overall well-being.

Then we will bring this understanding into practice and share tangible tools that will allow you to access our higher mind, our most radiant selves. We will be able to have more control over the frequency we emit and experience how our energy affects our own health and the well being of others.

Conscious Parenting with Insiya Raswiala-Finn, 8:30 – 9:30

We all seek to parent with presence, compassion and love and yet real life often gets in the way. Join yogini, ayurvedic practitioner and mama Insiya Rasiwala-Finn in this stimulating workshop where she will share tangible insights from yoga’s sister science of Ayurveda to bring more balance, space, health, ease and love for our children and ourselves in the fast pace of modern life. This workshop includes a discussion, pranayama and meditation. Bring a journal and pen. No asana practice.

Ambassadors: A New Era of Influencers & Experts with Eoin Finn, Chelsey Korus, Robin Arzon and Dr Chelsea Jackson Roberts, 10:30 – 11:30

It used to be that you had to go to a monastery, or perhaps to med school, or maybe on a pilgrimage to India to become an expert in the field of well-being. Today, it seems, all you need is a smartphone and an Instagram account. Or do you? In this era of influencers, brand ambassadors and affiliates, we look at the double edged sword of online notoriety: is it making teachers (and thus teachings) more accessible or does it dilute the message? Join some of the more notable ambassadors and social media-savvy experts of this generation as we explore the dialectic between getting likes and shares versus sharing true wisdom.

Yogic by Nature Meditation with Eoin Finn, 15:00 – 16:00

Most people think meditation is something we need to do to be more spiritual and so it becomes a hard chore that we try to undertake with sporadic consistency and limited success. This workshop is about showing you how enjoyable and easy meditation can be using these simple Blissology techniques.

We start by learning the skills of “somatic quieting” using the body to relax the places where stress, worry and fear are manifest. We let go of what is tight and open up to what is light. We will learn how to balance our chakras and release the “issues in our tissues.”

Once a body and mind and heart harmony is established, the next step is to link our consciousness back to the planet and nature, letting its healing energy sooth us. This opens the door to our highest vibrational self.

You will develop insights about how nature is our essential spiritual portal. It is the source of deep awe, joy and bliss. This Blissology approach to meditation will allow us to experience true interconnectedness, not just with your own body-mind, but also with our personal relationships, our communities and with the planet itself. Expect to leave with a heart that feels uplifted and connected to beauty inside and out.

Yoga and Mind Body Medicine: the Skill of Chill with Eoin Finn & Dr. Lawrence Cheng, 10:30 – 11:30

It’s no secret that the pace of life is increasing every year. In this digital era many of us face information overwhelm and are living with a high degree of tension on our bodies. This is cutting us off from our body’s innate ability to heal and for a mind that knows the joy of interconnection. Switching from 5th gear to neutral is something we all need to learn if we are going to be more sustainable to our own selves and to nature. Yet there is a skill to this technique that we are excited to share.

Join renowned yogi Eoin Finn and Dr. Lawrence Cheng for a short lecture on the adrenals, the nervous system and our body’s profound ability to heal itself when we can find mind-body harmony. We will then bring this knowledge to the meditation cushion and leave you with tools and techniques for how to self regulate your body and mind towards a state of optimal peace. These tools will help us become more present and teach us how to live in harmony with our body, our loved ones, our work, our community and nature.
