Eoin couldn’t be happier to be coming back to one of his favourite places in the world to present and Wanderlust—Oahu!
What to expect
Wanderlust’s mission is to help you find your true north, wherever your journey may take you. On the breathtaking North Shore of O’ahu, they’ve hand-selected world-renowned guides—yoga and meditation teachers, outdoor instructors, musical performers, speakers, artists and chefs—to light your path. In 2019, they’re offering even richer experiences like full-day Thursday immersions and new outdoor excursions to make O’ahu an unforgettable waypoint in your journey to true north.
Thursday, February 28 @ 9:00am – 1:00pm
The main work of my life is to make sure that Nature remains the source of our deepest spiritual sustenance. As a surfer, I see the ocean as my temple, my playground, my gym and often our supermarket. We are so intimately connected to the ocean—every tear and every drop of sweat comes and goes from the ocean; every second breath we take is produced by the plankton in our Oceans. Yet, the ocean is in incredible trouble.
Like you, it makes me angry. However, yogic wisdom has helped me transmute my anger into energy for constructive change. EcoKarma is a call for ecologists and yogis to manifest the changes they want to see in the world with integrity and love. Come check out what lights a fire in my heart and discover how we, yogis, can be a positive force on this planet together. If you’re ready to walk your talk, let’s gather for a beach clean up after the talk and finish the day with a fluid vinyasa yoga practice as well as a ritual that honors our connection to the Ocean.
Through yoga, embodiment practices, meditation and philosophy you will develop insights about how nature is our essential spiritual portal. While your asana practice will gain a fresh context, fluidity and blissful vitality, your heart will feel uplifted and connected to something beautiful.
*Please bring an object you found in nature that means something to you for our Blissology Mandala that we will collectively create as a community at the start of this class. Examples could be fallen leaves, flowers, seeds etc.
Blissology EcoKarma x Sustainable Coastlines Beach Clean-Up with Eoin Finn & Chelsey Korus
Thursday, February 28 @ 2:30pm – 5:30pm
Join Sustainable Coastlines Hawaii and Chelsey Korus on an adventure to a beautiful deserted beach rarely visited by anything other than endangered monk seals, turtles, and fish. Sadly though, Kahuku Beach is also one of the dirtiest beaches on the island where plastic pollution from thousands of miles away washes ashore after a strenuous journey through the North Pacific Garbage Patch (the Gyre). Join us as we show the Kahuku Coastline aloha by removing as much plastic pollution as we can.
Enjoy a beach rarely visited, and open your eyes to what a collective effort can have on the beautification of our coastlines.
Earth Body Yoga
Friday, March 1 @ 11:00am – 12:30pm
This workshop is not just a fluid vinyasa yoga practice but also a ritual that honours our connection to the Earth. Through yoga, embodiment practices, meditation and philosophy you will develop insights about how nature is our essential spiritual portal. Experience true interconnectedness, not just with your own body-mind, but also with your personal relationships, your communities and the planet itself. While your asana practice will gain a fresh context, fluidity and blissful vitality, your heart will feel uplifted and connected to something beautiful.
Expect a vigorous, fluid and blissful vinyasa practice infused with both light-heartedness and depth, followed by Eoin’s powerful earth-body meditation to leave us feeling plugged in to the source of deep awe, joy and bliss. Open to all levels of yoga practitioners. Familiarity with vinyasa yoga is recommended.
* Please bring an object you found in nature that means something to you for our Blissology nature appreciation mandala that we will collectively create as a community at the start of this class. Examples could be fallen leaves, flowers, seeds etc.
Yogi Rock Star: Classic Rock Vinyasa Flow
Saturday, March 2 • 9:00am – 10:30am
Hey, hey Mama said the way you move, gonna make you sweat, gonna make you groove! This Blissology yoga class is going to be a fun and uplifting rocking vinyasa yoga class! Take a walk on the wild side and be ready to break on through to the other side. Build a stairway to heaven as we knock you out with our American (and Aussie) thighs. It’ll be Paradise City as Dudes who look like ladies and twisted sisters kiss the sky and tune into that sweet emotion. Breathe, learn to fly, close your eyes for that double pigeon and bust out some wild things that make your heart sing while releasing our beast of burdens. Blissology yoga will be burning down the house and we’ll fight for our right to party like it’s 1999! It’s time to come together and let love rule!
Sunday, March 3 @ 7:00am – 8:30am
We will explore the anatomy of the pelvis, mapping out the territory of the hip muscles. With this knowledge of optimum alignment we can safely set sail on our journey towards hip mobility and freedom. This uniquely sequenced flowing series of poses will leave you feeling blissful and ecstatic.
“All levels, all good” format, meaning there will be modifications for beginners and plenty of juiciness for intermediate and advanced yogis. Life is way too short to have tight hips, come enjoy.
