What to expect

This nature affirming vinyasa practice melds mantra, meditation, breath and sound bath in a magical solstice ritual that allows us to cultivate our inner light, as we turn toward that source of all illumination, the sun, with more clarity and joy.

Suitable for all levels of yogis. Please bring a journal and a pen as well as something that represents nature to you for our community nature mandala. We have mats, props, smiles and tea.

About Jennifer:
Jennifer Lang (Jen) is a singer, voice activator, Reiki Master and sound healer who creates a healing and transformative space using the magic of singing bowls and her voice. Jen trained in opera at McGill University and has been singing, coaching, and supporting voice and personal development through sound and singing for over 10 years. A yogi and martial artist, she takes great delight in discovering the connections that thread through all areas of our lives.

About the Singing Bowls:
The main set of singing bowls for this event are from Nepal. They are made from a bronze alloy comprised of 7 different metals: gold, silver, mercury, copper, iron, tin, and lead (sometimes, zinc). These bowls were acquired and activated during my time in Dubai, when I trained as a Sound Healer with Ascension Platform group and Mathilde Lumiere. They are each tuned to notes correlating to the 7 Chakras, working in a pattern of the Circle of Fifths and the two highest (and smallest) bowls were added to balance the set as a whole. I also use Tingsha chimes (carefully chosen to work with the sound of the bowls), and a singing bowl from India, whose tone complements the complete set.
