PSA: You are enlightened already. ⚡️ You just PSA: You are enlightened already. ⚡️

You just need to stare deeply into something in nature to remember.

I don’t mean you need to go to Yosemite Park or an empty beach (although this is where the signal is strongest.) You can tune into the signal of nature on your back deck or the nearest park.

It’s just a matter of opening up your antenna and deeply observe something in nature. A snowflake or a butterfly will do.

The slower you go, the better.

In fact, look deeply into something beautiful and simply follow these four steps.

Relax
Breathe
Observe
Receive

Prepare for the “Transmission of the Beautiful” into your heart.

By the way, many years ago I started the hashtag #natureappreciation so you can share the beauty of this incredible planet we are intimately connected to.

The great gift of gratitude is that it doesn’t a The great gift of gratitude is that it doesn’t allow us to take anything or anyone for granted.

One problem our generation has is disposability. 👈🏼

Everything is disposable. If our toaster breaks we don’t fix it, we just order a new one online. It used to be a big deal to take 36 photos, now we have thousands we will never see again stored in the cloud on some digital server. Our sports heroes seem to switch teams every few years. We can swipe left and dispose of hundreds of people we don’t want to date in an instant.

When everything is easily replaceable, the value of things goes down.

The issue this generation of disposability increasingly faces is that we can take things for granted.

One thing a month of the Blissology Project has taught me is that the opposite of taking things for granted is gratitude.

When we are grateful for things, we see how precious they are.

What’s amazing is how just the simple things are such gifts if we stop to appreciate them fully and don’t just keep searching for the next hit of stimulations.

The small things that mean everything. I am grateful for a few minutes to feel the wind and the sun on my face.

Thanks for capturing this shot in front of my home break @_meredith__rose_ . Every day, I am grateful for yoga and the ocean.

Tune in to the gift of the small moments. Slow down and make them non-disposable. This moment is never coming back.

There is an unshakable baseline of happiness at ou There is an unshakable baseline of happiness at our core. A deep seeded contentment that is our essence. To feel it, do one simple thing: take stock of your blessings with a grateful heart.

We’ve been committing to daily gratitude practice in the Blissology Project. It takes just a few minutes to really look at how many things are going right at this moment. There are countless gifts of beauty to awaken our senses and restore our sense of ease.

But our minds tend to do the opposite. We don’t count our blessings, we count our “stressings.” We fill our heads with stories of what’s not right and hold our bodies tight. These issues get stored in our tissues.

If we could simply subtract those constricted places in our bodies, our minds will reset back to peace. The great gift of yoga is that it helps us exhale these sticky places out.

Look around and find one simple gift now like the miracle of breath, of the light from the sky or someone you love. Then, every time you breathe out, start deducting.

At the same time, multiply your gratitude..

Happiness is a process of subtraction.

Slow down and feel into your heart space. There is Slow down and feel into your heart space. There is a question waiting to be answered there:

✨W͏h͏a͏t͏ a͏r͏e͏ t͏h͏e͏ g͏i͏f͏t͏s͏ I͏ h͏a͏v͏e͏ t͏o͏ o͏f͏f͏e͏r͏ t͏o͏ t͏h͏e͏ w͏o͏r͏l͏d͏? W͏h͏a͏t͏ i͏s͏ i͏t͏ t͏h͏e͏ w͏o͏r͏l͏d͏ i͏s͏ a͏s͏k͏i͏n͏g͏ o͏f͏ m͏e͏ t͏o͏d͏a͏y͏?✨

It’s a big question. Can you answer it with clarity?

Chances are that unless you take the time to slow down, breathe and feel into it the answer might not be there.

To me, meditation is a two-step process. Step one is getting quiet and present. Step two is listening to the message of our deepest heart and answering the question “what is the world asking of me today?”

In order to find the answer, we need to get clear. Clear, the noun means easy to understand and lucid. Clarity is what we want to attain.

But how we get clear is by clearing. Clear, the verb means “to remove obstacles or unwanted things from something.”

Every day, to get clear on what our offering is to the world, we need TO CLEAR the obstacles of our own minds; self-doubt, fear of being judged and a distracted mind.

As part of the new year into end 2020, I have left a gift on our Blissology Yoga YouTube channel called the “Clear Intention Meditation.

No matter what, find a quiet space to get clear on what the world is asking of you. It is the biggest source of bliss.

I wish you the gift of lucidity in 2021. Clear to get Clear!

While many people are looking forward to the end o While many people are looking forward to the end of 2020, there is so much I will miss about this year.

Most notably the small pause we are all taking in how we affect the earth.

Dubbed “Anthropause,” we have slightly lowered the blow we take to the ecosystem each year.

For example, Carbon emissions went down 25 percent in China. They made 200 million metric tons of carbon dioxide during lockdown compared to 2019 (source Wikipedia. In the first half of the year globally our carbon emissions went down 8.8 percent.

I know in my own life, even though I still have to work hard and change my business game plan, I barely travel more that 1km from my house each day.

I walk to the beach and often to by my groceries. Life is way more simple. I’m eating produce from local farmers, my microbiome and biorhythms are never unbalanced. I have more time with my family and to simply watch the clouds and the stars each day.

What I’ve found is one simple formula: the more simple my life is, the smaller my eco footprint. The more my eco footprint goes down, the more my happiness increases.

Each day I pray that our practices of yoga, mindfulness, art and yoga instill us with a deeper sense of interconnection and the preciousness of nature. When we move too fast, it’s easier to lose the plot.

More than anything, I pray that we take this attitude with us into a post-pandemic world.

If my life has one message it’s that life has one purpose, it’s to love deeply and fearlessly.

If you want more love, make more quiet time in nature.

The more I blue the line between where I end and nature begins, the happier I am.

Thank you 2020 for making this even clearer to me.

I won’t forget in 2021 or any other year! That’s a promise.

I hope you feel the same. 🐬

In light of yet another lockdown, I wanted to shar In light of yet another lockdown, I wanted to share this thought. I know it sucks to be told to stay at home and to have public spaces closed. However, there is a silver lining. It’s called a chance to create quiet time where we can restore our peace.

Make a sacred space in your home for you to retreat to. Meditate there daily. When you do, see what happens. Notice what happens to you and, most importantly, your relationships.

The fact is that we need this inward time because most of our lives we are very extroverted, socializing, chatting and taking in the stimulation of entertainment and work.

Many of us give our energy to others in our life. We live in service of our families and see ourselves as providers or care-givers.

This is an incredible gift to the world. There is no greater joy than embracing the hearts and minds those we love.

There is only one problem: we can end up feeling drained: Compassion fatigue, anyone?

The solution: make more time to cultivate quiet peace and a connection to something deeper than our own selves.

What I’ve learned is that without that connection, when we give to others, it is our own energy we are giving away. When we plug into our higher power of love, it feels like we are transferring this power. We are CONDUITS FOR LOVE and it doesn’t come from us.

For me, the end game of meditation is not just presence, it’s KINDNESS.

By taking time to retreat from the world and tune into this place of peace, you will fill your tanks and be able to approach the world with more love.

Side note: if you want to practice one month of mediation with Eoin check out the Blissology Project link in bio ✌🏼

Retreat more to embrace more.
